Stephen Lotinga

Stephen Lotinga is Group Director of Policy and Public Affairs at Sky, Europe's leading media and entertainment company, and has responsibility for all public affairs, public policy and government relations work across the Group. He previously worked as Chief Executive of the Publishers Association, the membership organisation representing UK publishing and as Chair of the charity World Book Day. Prior to that, he worked in Downing Street and the Cabinet Office as Director of Communications to the then Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Deputy Director of Government Communications, with responsibility for setting the government's overall communications strategy and implementing it. He has also worked as Managing Director of two of the UK's largest public affairs agencies, Edelman and Bell Pottinger. Earlier in his career he worked for the Liberal Democrats as a Senior Policy Advisor, and DCMS Policy Adviser where he worked on media, broadcasting, telecoms and the wider creative industries.
