Samantha Dowling

Sam is Director of Communications and Marketing for the pan-London professional body for general practice, and has worked in the media, Westminster, and Whitehall for over 25 years. From speechwriting for backbench MPs and Ministers, to editing national current affairs programmes and news bulletins, she has a deep understanding of how to shape, manage and land effective messages. She has a track record of successful campaigning, and a policy portfolio spanning community development and finance, human rights, social investment, employee ownership, membership comms and health, with an enduring love of public affairs and politics.  She lives in Greenwich SE London with her husband, daughter and cats and is a committed member of her local community, and founding member and Vice President of the local WI "the Woolwich and Plumstead Roses".
