Kickstarting Employment Support from Government

BECG helped client Communities that Work to secure some of the largest Covid-19 commitments from Government through the campaign for an Opportunity Guarantee, which delivered nearly 900m from Government to double the number of work coaches in Jobcentres to 27,000, 2bn for a new Kickstart Scheme to support the young and unemployed, and over 3 billion committed for a green investment package supporting 140,000 jobs.

BECG delivered the campaign thorough an integrated public affairs and influencing programme that secured wide ranging support, and achieved its aims less than three months of covid-19 forcing the UK into lockdown
