The Cut Back Wine Tax campaign secured a policy change at a time when the Government was under immense pressure to increase taxes to balance the books and was being lobbied by a wide range of industries for favourable treatment.

We cut through the noise and conflicting demands with direct engagement and carefully tailoring messages delivered across multiple channels. As a result, the 2021 Budget announced a freeze in duty on wine for only the third time in 20 years, cushioning wine producers and sellers from a costly rise when they are struggling to recover from the impact of Covid-19.
