As a result of a post-merger internal restructuring, the Janus Henderson global communications function was less than 2 months old in July 2019 and within 6 months our team increased from 2 to 11 members. In a year, the team managed to build a robust change communication process, reduced agency and third party vendor spend by 20%, launched a high visibility media campaign (67% increase of coverage), launched a new thought leadership study (53m gross reach) and launched new employee communications channels (Podcast, newsletter, new intranet and various charity activities to benefit Covid-19 impacted communities).
